Near young boys play football, cows standing in the middle of the street give to all of these a wird mix of develop but traditional country where things are so similar to Europe and so different and traditional at the same time. We notice very soon that even the travelers are very special people here and completely in harmory with the country ...

... caught a shared taxi to the main town centre, Thamel. Looking out of the back window, totally in my own world trying to comprehend how the disturbing journey coming here unfolded as it did, whilst smiling in relief to finally be here, on the way to my guesthouse.

... 360 view. The highlight was getting to see the peak of a mountain taller than 8000m. We were trekking downward by seven. With the snow still crisp below our feet we had to try and make it down below the snow line. Once the sun was up the snow would become super slippery. Luckily we made it almost all the way down; as for the last fifteen minutes I slipped three times and really had to watch my steps.

Once out of the snow we made excellent time. It took four days ...
