    ... NOT believe them. But Casey and I didn’t see anything and about 5 minutes after they freaked out, a small cat came out of the same area of forest they were talking about.     ... it's bright and clean and I have so far experienced no pushing and shoving. A lady with her grandchild was even kind enough to offer me her seat when they got up to leave.

    ... Serena. She is not my daughter or even sister, but us au pairs talk about "the kids". We take "the kids" to school and pick them up. I laugh so much at the things Serena says and she is probably by best friend in China. And to think that earlier this year I lived in my flat in Harrow, went to work in an office and then came home and watched TV. I never even knew of Serena or Ms Liang or Mr Yao ...

    On the way home we got our second dinner, KFC, and munched it on the train. I did some maths, and R did some reading of sorts, and we all lived happily ever after. The end.

    We woke early and from the room and balcony we watched the sun grow stronger in the clear air on the mountains opposite, while a fisherman quietly punted himself about just below the weir. Enjoying the cool morning air, we went down and had breakfast beside the river and were surprised to see punts starting to drift past even at this early hour.
