Went to meet Stephen at the Wyndham Hotel at midday and went to the Nanchang Historic Cultural Street, which was full of craft shops and food stalls. We were picked up by our guide for lunch, who took us to a very nice restaurant. The food was divine. We had a local pork dish, home-made tofu in chilli, an aromatic fried rice, and veg. This was followed by peanut ice-cream, which was not too sweet and quite refreshing. If nothing else the trip to China has been well worth it for the food.
