I find queuing at the Jiashan Nan train station incredibly stressful, as people firstly don't know how to queue and secondly get very annoyed if the transaction taking place at the window takes any longer than 10 seconds. Every weeks without fail there is always a man aged 50-70 shouting his mouth off at at the poor bloke behind the window, or at the customer who is at ...

... were, of course, sleeping and not posing nicely for anyone! The zoo is pleasant enough and I can't remember the last zoo I actually went to, but I think as far as zoos go there might possibly be better ones out there. There weren't many non-Chinese people about. We had a good chat and wandered around and had a good day out. Julian and I dropped by Awfully Chocolate in Cloud 9 shopping centre (practically my local) and that's where I said goodbye ...

... messing around. So on my left were happy people and on my right were crying people. I guess it happens in weddings the world over! After that, we were then hanging around in reception for the next 3 hours or so. We were probably there longer than the wedding ceremony itself lasted. Luckily, I have Serena to keep me entertained so we played "hide the toy" in reception, and played outside a bit and had some haagen dazs ice cream (it's popular in China but no less expensive).
