... blow some air into the sausage from my regulator octopus rig and the sausage shoots to the surface and the string is unreeling quickly. I am in danger of getting a rope burn or of getting tangled but we manage to get the sausage on the surface and the boat is heading our way when we are on top.

... and everything Japanese. The place was teeming with Japanese tourists and anything and everything were catered specially to them. All the signs were in Japanese, The whole city was over crowded by Japanese eateries, the guides and receptionists were speaking in Japanese. So much so that it was very hard to spot a native islander or american as compared to throw a stone and you are sure to hit a Japanese :-) Simply put, Guam could be easily labeled as a Japanese resort ...
... 10:30, shut the doors to the balcony to block out the sun, and climbed back into bed for a two-hour jetlag nap. I’m also still feeling a little bit sick; but unsure if I’m truly ill or if it’s just symptoms of traveling across 10 timezones and generally being sleep-deprived in the past week since I pulled an all-nighter to complete my legal briefs and other chores before leaving on this trip to kick off a six-week travel ...
... a big headache and my head is so stuffy; I feel extreme pressure in my right ear. I hope I’m not majorly sick. Hopefully some good sleep will cure this. Bed at 10:00.
The plan is to be here in Guam for just this one night and continue on to Manila tomorrow evening. I might end up spending another night here, however, if I can’t get on the flight tomorrow. While that would no doubt be frustrating, I have to remind myself there are many worse places to be stranded than ...
