Today marks the beginning of my last week in China. It's hard to believe that it's almost over and there are still some things I have to do before I go! I still have class which is a drag but as far as I'm concerned that's taking a back seat to other priorities (sorry mom and dad).

Loashan Mountain - One of the Holy Mountains

Grapes are Not Just for Wine Making
... picked grapes from the vine. Small stools were spread around for some to sit and just enjoy the quietness of the grapes’ canopy or to simply sit and savor fresh grapes. All grapes in the area are individually covered to protect them from bugs. We were each given 2 boxes and a scissors to fill up with our own fresh-picked grapes. Laizhou - Real China Immersion
Welcome to Laizhou - a real China immersion experience. We drove to Laizhou on Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful drive. Coming out of Qingdao was an experience as you saw the massive amounts of construction projects that are underway. In a five minute stretch on the highway outside of Qingdao I counted 70 construction cranes. I am not sure I even counted them all.
