... Thomas and Eric dropped by part way through and joined us just in time for the start of our second film of the evening as we'd had some technical difficulties and had only got half an hour into the first one. On Sunday we had the final vis-a-vis activity, a trip to Beilun port. It's geographically the biggest port in China, but Shanghai sees a greater value of goods through its port as it is such an administrative centre. We were allowed to go to one of the loading docks and ...

We were invited out with some of the staff on Tuesday night to Laowi Town to a quiz night which was good fun. We then met Silvie, the CP at Munchner Biergarten, the German bar on Wednesday and the Italian restaurant Thursday evenings.
