Now I had heard about this when I was back in Penang as it started on the day I went to one of the Buddhist Temples and had heard the Chinese locals talk about the 9 days of rain starting Wednesday and finishing on ...

... so! We didn't see much as we were concentrating either on our feet or where we were putting our hands on the ropes to avoid bees or other creepie crawlies. I didn't think either once down, I would say it was cool. I guess 31c and 90% humidity is all relative by a few points.
