... Kuala Lumpur by 2pm... Hopefully. It was sad to say goodbye to them and to Kenji and Deb. Who knows when I'll see them again? Well... Now I have a week volunteering in KL. I've no idea what I'll be doing but I'm sure I'll be updating again really soon. Its been so nice not feeling so alone for a while. Being sick and tired of course heightens them feelings but I can safely say my faith has been restored in Malaysia as a good place to visit. On that note I'll say bye for now. ...

... was to foggy to see the tea plantations from the top. We still enjoyed our 3 hours trek, but had to go back to our hotel at around 3.00 pm to pick up our stuff and leave for Kuala Lumpur. ... On my way out to breakfast I literally stumbled upon a procession which was occurring down the main street near my hotel. Earlier I had heard drumming but made nothing of it but what was happening was this parade to celebrate the 9 Emperor God festival. Now I had heard about this when I was back in Penang as it started on the day I went to one of the Buddhist Temples and had heard the Chinese locals talk about the 9 days of rain starting Wednesday and finishing on ...

... train to catch. When we got to Puduraya sat down on a bench to have noodles and crisps, it was so hot in KL compared to the cameron highlands. After lunch, we got some presents to give to Dzariff for letting us stay at his place. We jumped back on another train to KL Sentral where he picked us up. On the way to his house, he showed us some of the most expensive houses in KL. They were so big and grand. When we got to his house, we had to ...

... the tickets and headed out to grab some breakfast/lunch. After eating we went back to the station and chilled in the mall for the next couple hours. We boarded the bus around 1:15pm and left a little early at 1:20pm. The ride was pretty uneventful until we got on the winding roads of the highlands. People were requesting to get dropped off in towns along the way so we'd stop for a few minutes to let them out. At one of the places we ...
