My farewell party was still going strong as the sun came up. There was an absolutely gorgeous sunrise! Ahhh...the perks of getting up early….wait…the perks of not going to bed?...

A group of us decided to have breakfast together, but nowhere was open. Gabriel kindly offered his boat, the Nyx, for us to cook on (it was moored very close by in the Manoel Island Yacht Yard). We visited the corner shop and bought sausages, beans, bacon, eggs ...

... advantage of the Triple J Hottest 100 countdown. I baked ANZAC biscuits and finished creating my Australian quiz. I then decorated the living room with Aussie flags, koalas and food. A big thank you to my mum for sending all the goodies over, it was a big hit, and no one left the premises without something Australian tattooed, stuck to them or worn by them.

... cruise ship that I had ever seen!!! We all took lots of photos and carried on our walk along the harbour. We visited the sweetest sweet shop and it was suddenly dark before we knew it, so we went to the lower gardens this time and took in the beautiful view. ... the fun task of buying a new kettle since the one we had had broken, then we went to the amazing DVD shop where you can rent new films for only €1 a night - bargain! We spent the evening watching the film and I told Chris about his birthday weekend.. We packed so we were ready and both wished we didn't have to go to work before we could leave for Gozo!! They both caught the morning light beautifully. The road winds up and around as we head towards the middle of the country, offering a stunning view of the countryside and the coastline we were just moving along.
