... Prague. It is interesting again how a city can leave such an impression on you, whilst remaining completely passive. It is just a city. It is what you make it, and sadly I couldn't shift a negative opinion of Amsterdam. If a city were a man, I would go for the Amsterdam - or at least I would have. Up early again Wednesday, Yvonne took us to train, on to Birmingham to catch train to Antwerp via London. A fair bit of panic as we had to make connections and there was an electrical fault on lines we were to travel on. All came good in the end.
Nieke was there to meet us. She hasn't changed. Still the bright cheerful young lady that stayed with me about 8 years ago. More later as I feel ...

Gordon Finest Gold strong blond, 10%, alcohol taste a bit strong at first, but surprisingly didn't notice after a while. You could not drink too many of these.
Duuel Special Belgian beer, 8.5%, sweet, smoky flavour, OK to drink 1 or 2 but that would be it
Carlsberg Imported, 5.5%, well it's Carlsberg
Bruges Zot Lager, 6.0%, a local beer, a bit to hoppy for me

5) Yesterday the US Embassy called to tell us that because we’re living in Luxembourg without the residents’ permit we are in violation of Luxembourgish law. We must therefore leave Luxembourg immediately.
That’s all we know.
