WE KNOW. It's the ugliest shoe on earth. But the best ever made to travel in hot and wet countries!
They survived our previous trips. And although we kind of hoped to have lost them...we found them in the basement, waiting for their new adventure.
And... the girls love them so much (we made a whole marketing plan to sell them :-)), Camille wanted to wear them all the time this Christmas. Even to go to school...

At this point, we decided to split the cost of a taxi. We walked up to a nearby gas station and the attendant phoned a taxi for us. When the taxi arrived, it took hardly any time at all to reach the castle. We took the precaution of getting the taxi's phone number before heading into the castle.
