... Highlights of dinner included: very refreshing ice tea, the waiter approaching us saying someone smelt nice but neither of us were wearing perfume, Jess playing footsy with me forgetting that I wasn’t her boyfriend, and Jess ordering a muffin ( you might of needed to be there)!

... our VB diversion, we headed directly to Brussels. Brett did so famously driving here and we didn't even take one wrong turn. Well he didn't. I was (happily) assigned to the back seat after Adelaide screamed half way from Paris to VB, This seemed to make everyone calmer, which is essential when driving on THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!

... ease the bus ride back to the hotel. Not much engagement with the locals today except at the brewery. They were needless to say anything but hesitant to talk to us about our experience and the brewery so it made the tour that much better. Today was probably one of my favorite days of the trip and probably will remain so after. It's bitter sweet to think in about 48 hours we will be heading back to the states...
