Up early for the subway and bus to La Guardia Airport. All went smoothly, and before we knew it we were in Miami! It's warm! We got a taxi to our hotel on Biscayne Boulevard - the first of many cheap and basic motels we know we'll be staying in over the next five months! We walked around the area but there wasn't really anything around, so we got …
... compared to ours.
My accommodation is at Marriott Miami in the heart of Miami my room is costing $188 per night and staying for 6 nights so it will be around $1100, The Hotel is a 4 star and is well known for great accommodation and service, The Hotel is only 10 minutes walk away from Miami Beach and right off the city. I unpacked some of my clothes and went down to Miami Beach ...
It was Tuesday and time for our cruises to begin. We awoke early and took advantage of the breakfast buffet that was included at the Embassy Suites. Again there was a good variety of offerings and pleasant staff to help us.

During the day, I also went for my walks on deck 6, 11 and 12. I like to mix up my walks a bit and see the ocean from different areas of the cruise ship. Walking is very relaxing to me and I like to try and get some exercise in during a cruise of all you can eat buffets.
I discovered a new great combination of food. In the morning for breakfast, ...
... have been able to take it, AND we're so happy so many of you "traveled" with us.
The cruise was great, but after our days in Europe, it was just a time to enjoy the ship, relax and, of course, eat!!!
We are so grateful and feel so blessed to have been able to make our "Dream Trip to Europe"!!
