I made it! The first flight was easy and felt really short. The 3.5 hour wait at Dubai airport for my connecting flight felt much longer. After that came the next 7 hour flight. Luckily all my long flights are done now until my return home. One thing I noticed during my many hours at various airports today, is the list of departures on the electronic boards. Once back at the hotel we got ready for out first evening out in KL, we even had to make the effort to wear a shirt and smart shoes as we were going to go to the Skybar tonight! Before that though we headed to the Pavillion shopping centre to find the dim sum place we tried 8 weeks ago, after a brief wait for ...

... up to the caves and in the incredibly intense heat by the time I got to the top my calves were burning and I was sweating so much it was disgusting! I also managed to get attacked by monkeys - which there were loads of and were running up and down the steps preying on unsuspecting victims. I was not unsuspecting, just clearly had a look of terror on my face that whenever they came near me they obviously latched onto (monkey's aren't stupid you know). On my way back down ...
