Well it will all be downhill from Cheyenne. The landscape is flat and green with oil pumps scattered around. You see a cluster of trees so you know there is a house somewhere in there. When we cross into Nebraska the north side of the interstate is flat and the south side has rolling hills.

Tonight we drove to my aunt and uncles house and I got a hot shower and I will have a nice bed to sleep in tonight. Today really wasn't fun and I hope the 52 mile ride into Omaha tomorrow will be a little more pleasant. Today in the wind and rain I rode 48 ...

I have to admit today was not fun. There was an incredible amount of wind all day. It started in the morning as a 20 mph side wind and by the end of the day it had turned into a 30 mph head wind. I started in Grand Island this morning and by the time I got to York I had decided it was the worst day ...
