It is countdown until departure day to Spain after so many months of preparing, it's hard to believe that the day is almost here. ... but no damage to the motorhome....but I don't think they faired as well. It is hard to believe all the corn and soy bean fields on every available inch both sides of the interstate and as far as you can see and if nothing was planted there was cattle grazing.
We finally got the MOTORHOME broken in...on this leg of the journey it turned 100,000 miles!!
There aren't many campgrounds ...
... above the dam. I had never experienced this before. We reached our northernmost destination - Princeton Beach about 3 pm, spent about an hour on the beach then started heading back down river.
For the late afternoon lunch, we stopped at a restaurant on the river, and had an outstanding meal at the "Captain's Table."
What a day!
