... no English menus and certainly no McDonalds), Catching the local buses hasn't been too hard as you just stand on the road to where you want to go and flag one down as it passes. Managed always to get where I wanted to go, and back. And have always found something to eat although at times I was not sure what it was After my bike ride with the hostel owner he cooked dinner - rice and duck. I wasn't too sure about the duck and even less sure when he told me it was duck ...

Wuhan

So we recited the poem again, and ate the rest of lunch. In any case, it will give me a reason to try the trip again ...

... we
arrived on board, we discovered that more than half of the people on the cruise
had been delayed several hours in Shanghai due to weather! They eventually
arrived that evening, but had missed the museum completely. Dinner was tasty
and we ordered from 5 choices on the menu. I had a lemon sole with a lovely
sauce and Dale had some pork ribs. We dined with the Aussies from our group.
