... Korean War memorial and finishing at the Abraham Lincoln memorial. All the architecture and buildings were incredible, such detail and the unique designs were awesome! I left this morning at first light, destination Lancaster, PA for the Monday practice round of the LPGA US Women's Open. Rachel gave me a hall pass to go walk and watch a major practice preparation. I knew I could get tickets at the country club, problem, I couldn't park there. Had to do a drive by to find out where I park so that I could get shuttled to the course. Took me 3 1/2 hours to drive from the Pittsburgh burb ...

... house. I remember Viv asking me, 'what about the rain? How was that for you????" The rain is actually amazing in a camper, if you've never experienced it, you should. The soft patter of raindrops on the camper can put the most stubborn non-sleeper to sleep.

Another morning and more rain! We awoke this morning to gray skies and drizzles, and before long a big storm was moving into the area and a flash flood warning was even given for the area. So after some morning devotions all stuck inside of the Schooner Youth Center where we are staying, we all got ready for another day of altered plans and indoor work. The Steelers and the Panthers at Kid's Club were once again at the Salvation Army building helping to run the classes ...
