... area. We found Oma and Opa and said hi to them. Then we stopped for dinner at this block of restaurants with Chipotle and Five Guys, then went home. On the way home we heard this really weird song on the radio about perpendicular teeth. At home, Oma and Opa had a cake for us that said “Welcome Home Kiwi Rubins!” Then I played a spot of Wii and went to bed.

... s 16th birthday! After everyone had gotten their fill of running around and playing on the playground in the 90 degree heat, we had a roadside surprise party complete with cake (thank you Mrs. Rittler!), birthday hats, and noisemakers (thank you Mrs. Seidel!). ... and I began to hit some major hills. It was pretty ridiculous but by this time I was okay with having the reward of 3 and 4 mile downhills after reaching the top.
