There was an International Folk Festival on in Phana so we joined in with the tours, we went to the herbal hospital and made traditional herbal massage balls. In the evening there were dances from (in order of the official Project Trust ranking) Bangladesh, India, China, Ukraine, Vietnam, Nepal, Latvia, Myanmar, Thailand, Turkey and Cambodia. On Tuesday evening we went to Pi Bong’s house for dinner with Pi Nan and their friends. We have been invited to a few more things with them which is nice. They are all lovely and they try to speak English while teaching us some Thai and Issan!

We had a dramatic day on Tuesday. In the morning we cycled to Tesco Lotus and bought some cockroach spray to try and deal with the night time downstairs infestation. On the way back as we were cycling near to the school we went past two boys who were sitting on a motorbike talking to their friend. We cycled past a snake in the school grounds last night – Amy nearly ran it over, we were terrified and locked ourselves in our bedroom for safety!
