We met the boys and went out for lunch, then we decided to splash out on a fancy milkshake, Phana is a lot fancier than Kutchum, typical me dropped my lovely milkshake whilst cycling (I was devastated) but Kevin went up and got me another one for ...

We taught at Songkorn, the secondary school, for the first time on Thursday. The pupil’s English appears to be quite good in the older classes but the younger class, Matium 1, reminded me of Prathom 1. ... are pretty old. By early evening downstairs was sorted and we can see it has potential to be really nice!

Monday was Amy’s 19th birthday. In classic Thai style everyone was late. A.Prayong ordered us some Pad Thai (our favourite meal) and gave Amy a knitted purple bag which her Aunt had made. We gave Amy a card, they are very hard to find in Thailand, and a cake. We have now worked out that it must be half term as there are no pupils ...

... At the weekend we moved in, decorated our bedroom and finally unpacked. Living in one room, out of our rucksacks was getting us down a bit! It was also good to get all my photos from home up and my Irish flag, there’s a Union Jack downstairs too!! Went to another primary school in the middle of nowhere, A.Prayong saved a turtle on the way there! The primary schools are really fun and I’m excited to start teaching.
