In 1995, for the 100 year anniversary of Swarovski, the multi-media artist Andre Heller created a place of true amazement with 14 subterranean Chambers of Wonder.

On this tour we're supposed to be visiting nine countries over the 17 days so this lunch stop in Innsbruck, Austria adds Austria to the country count (it counts if you leave the coach/plane right?). We had an hour to explore the town after a brief walking tour by Jen. After wandering through the central mall, admiring the architecture, a group of ...

    A day in Tirol

A travel blog entry by pandar on Sep 04, 2015

Breakfast in Tirol was much the same as anywhere else, bread rolls, cheeses, hams and the usual suspects of mueslis and fruits. We decided to just go into Hall and look around, and Anne suggested as much to the waitress. A lovely American woman suggested we go to Innsbruck as we were so close and it is such a great place to visit, and the train takes just ten minutes from here. So we did both.
Hall in Tirol is such a pretty place, well the Aldstat anyways. The old town is ...
