Even though at first I did feel a little silly wearing it, after the first litre of beer (oh yeah, the beer really does only come in 1L steins) it didn’t seem to matter so much and we just enjoyed the experience of dressing up (which everyone else was anyway), drinking beer with friends and being half way around the world in fabulous Germany!

... really a one-trick pony? Certainly the galleries an museums of Munich are world class. The Neue Pinakotheken is home to Van Gogh's Sunflowers and Monet's Waterlilies, whilst the Pinakotheken der Moderne has a room full of Picasso's and a few Warhol's too. If I had been bothered I could have seen the BMW museum in this, its home town. But I'm on a diet from cars after doing time at Mazda for so long.
