... was a divine way to relax your muscles (especially the feet) after a long day of walking. Another was its location. Not only was it close to the Marienplatz and right on top of an S-Bahn stop, it was also across the street from an Aldi (a small supermarket with great prices). We bought breakfast - mostly yogurts, fruit, deli meats and cheese - everyday at the Aldi, a delicious and filling meal for about 5 Euros total (for both of us).

The contrast between Italy and Germany was apparent as soon as I stepped into the modern, spacious, clean and attractive Munich airport.
