... he chose this place, gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, lakes, and streams. The castle was so beautiful on the inside. Ludwig II LOVED the composer Wagner, fantasy (dragons and fairy tales) and all of his loves were reflected in the decor of the castle. Every inch of the walls were covered in figures of fantasy. Today we walked to Weingarten, got on a bus to Ravensburg, then got on the train to go to Munich. It was a 2.25 hour train ride (each way). On the way there, we stopped in Ulm and got on another train to go to Munich. After Ulm, Clara was wide awake from her morning nap and was running up and down the halls of the train. It was challenging to keep her still! Grace was so good and enjoyed looking outside and playing with her dolls she brought along for the ride. ...
