... UNESCO (which I would love to work for someday), the International Bureau of Education, a professor of the Graduate Institute, and a collaborator from a journal. Overall pretty successful.
On Wednesday my friend Ace and I took a trip up to Zurich to use up our free train day pass. When we got up to Zurich we met up with two boys, one that Ace knew through a friend, and they showed us around Zurich. We walked down the ...

... Once we got closer to the summit, we had to switch to a bigger gondola that looked like it held about 15 to 20 people. Now that was kinda scary! It was higher up off the ground and also being at basically the summit we could see the whole mountain range around Lucern, which was wicked! Reaching the summit it was very cold, not to mention I didn't dress properly! But in proud Canadian fashion, KB went straight for the snow and made a ...
Lucerne, Lucerne, Switzerland crossin_oceans... in, put our bags in our room and then headed out to do some shopping...well looking really. I'll probably post once more before I leave Europe, but it will depend on internet access and cost in my hotel. I'm not quite sure what I'll do in Zurich. A friend gave me her map and recommended a walking tour so I'll probably do ...
... who, in all honesty, looked slightly scared at the prospect of sharing his patch with a bunch of fellow Wulfrunians, quite possibly with good reason. After nailing the high scores screen on the quiz machine (and using our previously fast growing collection of Swiss coins), we headed back to Emma's for sleep. The next day, Zug showed us that it doesn't have permanent sunshine, and ...
Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland stephen.turner... then a large group one - up the super-steep Mt Pilatus, just one of the many mountains in the Alps. We passed over multi-coloured forest, farmland and even a mountain tobogganing rig to alight at the top to what can only be cliché-ing-ly described as a breathtaking view. The pictures will speak for themselves, but we looked out over the sea of fog to see the tips (very large tips) of the other Alps, many snow-capped, and once the fog had dissipated, we ...

Although it began snowing more steadily later in the evening, we plan to get up early tomorrow and try again for the animal park.
