      ... don't let you do anything. We were accompanied to our room by the hostess and signed our credit card stuff. We need no cash on campus. Our room was beautiful and had a nice view of the ocean (see photo). It was well put together and had a nice TV in it.       Friday afternoon, we immediately changed into swim gear and got in some beach time. D learned that swimming in the ocean is a little different from pool swimming.       ... we watched the ship pull into the port of Nassau on New Providence Island, with four other ships already in port. Nassau is the capital and largest city of the Bahamas, with 70% of the entire Bahamas population. The girls had a parasailing excursion booked, and headed off with their tour guide. The temperature was lower than we had been used to, around 22c.
