... knows? There are so many avenues open to a chef with imagination. Could it be a bakery? For some reason all the wonderful bakeries which I remember from my youth have disappeared. I was woken at 3 am by the sound of moderately heavy rain. It continued on and off until breakfast and I thought we were going to need our waterproofs. ... path had more climbs so we were not very happy. Eventually we left the reservoir and got our first taste of the beautiful countryside to come in the next stage of the walk. Goodbye Lakes. We arrived in the delightful village of Bampton Grange at 4.30. We were both surprised at how good we felt. The feet have not got any worse since Day 2 and seem to be coping well with the daily pounding. No new blisters or dressings for me...amazing! Katrina wanted me to point out she has not had any ...
