Fish fumée was on the bottom and a candle was lit below it. Left the site around 11am, our aim today was Walla Crag and around Derwentwater. A steady climb to the top left us a pooped out but the view was worth it, the whole of Keswick lay beneath us, with Derwentwater to our left and Bassenthwaite lakes to our right. After the obligatory photos it was back down the other side. At one point Deb slipped and ...

... that oh, their is only 1 chef on and you came at a busy time, well obviously it's bloody dinner time in the middle of summer! Anyway I shall say no more except that, 15 mins later our food arrived with the offer of a free round of drinks, umm no thanks the site shuts the gates at 10pm and it's now 9.15! Food was nothing to write home about and trip advisor will hear about this!!! Apart from the last bit we had a great day, the weather is looking great for the next few days, fingers ...
