      ... continued to hike the final 6km down, we realized the steep climb on which the camels had taken us up. Looking at the cliffs,and the narrow trail, we were glad we did not know this on the way up.

      We all made it safely to the base of the mountain where St. Catherine's Monostary is located. This marks the location where Moses first saw the burning bush. Overall, this hike was the highlight of my trip.

      ... refuse to move until I have to. The view is perfect and the sky brightens until we can see our surroundings for the first time. The Sun rises a little later and the temperature shoots up within minutes. We hang around for a while to savour the view and to allow the crowds to wander off leaving just the 15 of us on the summit.
