After days at sea we had a short stop in Malaga before docking the next day back in Savona. I have decided that I am not crazy about the days at sea. Even though I really enjoyed all the ports, I don't think I would do anther big curise. The fact that there were only small number of people who spoke enlgish on the ship was interesting. So wanted to speak another language .. any lanaugage. Even when I told the Germans I did nto speak Germann they kept talking!

... it was her first time ever making a turkey in the oven. She also told me that she spent two weeks looking on the Internet for a recipe on how to cook a turkey. I really appreciate that she did that and that she put so much effort into making it. It was really nice of her to help us feel at home. Even though it was different it was still very good. i guess i should mention why i am writing this blog. it's something i have always wanted to do, i have slowly taken an interest in writing, especially about travel, mostly my travels. i'm not sure where this writing experiment will lead but isn't that part of the fun? i decided to start with this trip because it involves my upcoming 12 night cruise from malaga to miami via the canary and madeira islands and the bahamas ...
