... feel like it was early October like its been like. The leaves are still all green on the trees though. It's still hard to believe that it's almost December. It's still really warm, I can't wear a jacket, but the decorations remind me that Christmas is right around the corner. The decorations get more awesome each day. Calle Larios is super impressive and they've put up these large glass trees in the Plaza de la Marina and the Plaza ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... hacking and coughing going on by a few people in our car, it was a wonderful train trip (we referred to our car as the sick bay).
We spent the next week in the beautiful village of Frigliana, Spain (about 40 miles east of Malaga). We took a bus to the coastal city of Nerja and then a 10 minute bus ride into the hills of Frigiliana. Frigiliana is known as Las Villas de las tres culturas or the city of three cultures ...
... this 5 euro mojito that he wasn’t going to drink. I asked him why he didn’t just ask for her to replace the drink and he told me that it is extremely rare for a bartender to ever replace a drink and that the Spaniards will usually never complain. I told him that I would go tell the bartender that we’d like to exchange the mojito and he was a little surprised. In my mind I was correct, if you don’t like it you ...

... one and we traded. I was super excited.
It was then time for dinner, and I wanted a kebab. I got one, and Rebeca got a Chawamba, and Wiz got ham sandwich. We went to the one square and ate our food. We then got churros con chocolate at Cafe Futbol, and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. We came back and just showered and relaxed so that we can have a full nights sleep.
... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.
I had a beautiful weekend. It was quite random with much time spent on buses, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Laura and I traveled to Andalucia to meet up with my friend Carlos to go to a Feria in Jaen. We set out on Thursday night at 9:30 to catch a bus from Madrid to Malaga. Laura, being her usual self, got confused and made us take a later bus than we had intended to take. The result was that we had to run around the bus station in order to find our bus in time. I ...
Nerja, Spain pecoffd... situated to the south, and the Quebrada at the northeast angle. The most elaborate interior is the Torre de las Armas. However all are surpassed by the impressive Torre de la Vela. Its bell is rung on special festive occasions by young girls in the hope of warding off spinsterhood - dated though this sounds these days! This is the tallest tower of the walled enclosure, and the panorama seen from here extends towards unlimited horizons. Its silhouette is a significant symbol to the ...
