... near the apartment and already I feel revived and ready for the next 3 1/2 months. The actual neighborhood is quiet and calm, but a quick 5 minute walk down any of the staircases leading into ibiza and I have everything at my fingertips. Some might say this is possible in San An as well, but the buzz here is so much louder and vibrant. That aside, the music was lovely and somewhat familiar, minus the language of course. I even hummed along with some of the songs, given that there were no hymnals or bulletins. I felt a little out of place when communion happened, but was happy to see others that stayed in their seats as well. It was actually a very quick service. In and out within an hour! ... in Spanish and then smiled. I had no idea what she was talking about but then slowed down and tried to explain that she noticed that I am doing the steps correctly, but I just need to put more umph into the steps and make them Flamenco steps. Everyone in the class gave me a smile and extended pat on the back. I was on cloud 9. Now, if only I can keep the steps when the quick tempo comes.

~Ses Salines. (11/22/14) Natural Park where the salt mining is done. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately, we went to see the flamingos and only saw one while we were still in the car driving a decent speed. Our “guide” (another friend of a friend) said they come more when its cold so perhaps we will try again another time. :D
