... somewhere around 12:30. After finding our hotel, and giving ourselves the guided tour of downtown it was time for lunch. It was either Subway, or McDonald's, our choice was limited. We decided on Subway, and the adventure began. I had to get the #1 idiot on the island making my sub. I ordered a footlong turkey sub. ... refuge one last time. A few rabbits came out to tell us goodbye. Since we had to go by McDonalds on the way to the hotel a stop to feed the ponies was an absolute must. The main dominate pony was very happy to eat up $2.00 worth of corn. Since we were out of change we had to say goodbye. He wasn't happy. I struck up a conversation with a guy at the pony lookout that mentioned the ponies on the north end of the island were much closer, sometimes right on the road--looking for a handout. Of course we had to look for some history so we found the old marker delineating the border of Maryland and Delaware (it was still part of pa when marker was made so it bears the penn family crest) at the fenwick island lighthouse.
