... We drove to Le Touquet, arriving at lunchtime. We had a cuppa in the Manior Hotel. It was very busy with the French golfers, Maybe it's match day. The outside is having a big paint job done, the inside looks the same. When we walked over to the golf course we had quite a shock! The clubhouse is gone, and an enormous one is in the process of being built. There's a portocabin being used to pay in, and as a pro shop. There's no changing room ...

The glass of wine was enormous, the glass was big enough to wash your feet in! I bought myself a pair of oven mitts from the little shop ...

Shopping and sight seeing (in that order!) A quick walk round the ramparts then lunch at La Petite Auberge in the old town. Moules et Frites of course! Started to rain slightly as we went into the crypt of the Notre Dame, was chucking it down when we came ...
