Had a good sleep in and got up about 11am. Walked to the bus station to sort out our ride to Istanbul in a couple of days. Didn't have any dramas with this. Wondered around for the rest of the day. Caught the 10.30am train from Sofia to Varna. We had heard the trains could be really old and ****** and there could be thefts but when we got on it was fine. It was the first time we were in actual 8 seat cabins. A friendly lady in our cabin spoke really good English which was reassuring. Arrived in Sofia about 6pm and walked to the hostel.
