... of Constantine and St Helena which is clearly where all the fancy pants people holiday. We went on a very rickety cable car (sorry no photos, I was clinging onto everything for dear life). We laughed at the pot holes. And the best part? We made friends with a lovely Romanian couple and their adorable baby girl. They introduced us to homemade Palinka (!!!), and warned us about the gypsies in Bucharest. And we drank beer! Just the ticket!

We woke up this morning to a gale force wind, dark low clouds and spitting rain. We almost turned over and went back to sleep. But here we were so we packed the wet weather kit and headed for the BlackSeaRama Golf course. It was incredibly windy, probably the strongest winds I have ever played in but it did make it interesting.... and in fact it didn't rain at all and did warm up but the wind made it a cool day; good ...

After a morning in the garden we played golf at the Lighthouse course and while we were paying one of the marshals said our manager, Alex Day, was in Oman. He was the golf pro in our course in Muscat ...

... were hardly any people playing and yet the course was supposedly full? On finishing we discvovered it was because they don't have enough buggies. The course was not full but the buggies were and it was really a buggy only course. Unbelievable...

Now we are happily installed in a self catering apartment on the Cape Kaliakra where there are 3 golf courses. This detour to Bulgaria has been so Charlie could play at the amazing cliff hanging Thracian Cliffs course, but there is some doubt whether he can get a round (fully booked amazingly) in the next 3 days. We had no idea it would be such an issue but we are talking to a girl with influence tomorrow fingers crossed.
