... ship for lunch. I have to say that I am really impressed with the level of service on the ship (the Quest) thus far. The staff is very accommodating but not overbearing. It's all the little things they do that make the difference. We spend the rest of day reading, napping and laying by the pool. ... and while seeing where they get all their rice from (didn't realize they grew rice in Turkey) Annie whisked us north without a stop.

We reached the border at 12.30 and were a bit shocked. Bulgaria only has two borders with Turkey and if this is one God knows what the other is like. To say it was small would be an understatement. While we were there only two other cars went north and only half a ...

Today the Christmas box team took the highway East 250 miles to Burgas to begin our distributions. On the way, we stopped to see our old friend Marianna Dimitrova, who is an ex-pupil of Lipnitsa Orphanage/School. The Trussell Trust worked together with Mr Petkov, Lipnitsa's headteacher, to help Marianna escape an abusive family situation. It's really good to see her with a family of her own now and working in her village ...
