... and outside. I hope they don't actually get a dog anymore because I couldn't let it be outside all night by itself. Also, the Internet recommends not keeping dogs outside all the time and the Internet never lies, right?

I thought I was supposed to babysit the kids tonight, but I guess that must be tomorrow night or Noémie convinced them to stay in. Eric's birthday is tomorrow, so it would make sense that they would go out tomorrow night.

... the half hour ride to La Fourche. From there it’s a 10 minute walk to their apartment.

Once arrived, I greeted his wife and his wife’s cousin who was up from the south of France to help with the new baby, a little boy born two months ago. Everyone is doing well. Alex and I walked a short way to a new Thai restaurant that has just opened, and had very good Thai curry and a Singha, which I first tasted almost 35 years ago in Bangkok when I went ...

It also had quite the activities for kids (playgrounds/horse riding) and adults (tennis courts/volleyball), and a small replica of the Statue of Liberty! We decided to find a local grocery ...

A travel blog entry by mvershel on Apr 15, 2015

... the Rodin Museum to check out the sculptures in the outdoor garden. The interior was closed, but I seem to remember being underwhelmed by that the last time I was there in 2002. The sculptures were magnificent and I even got to take some great pictures of the Invalides together with the Eiffel Tower which was a real treat. Exhausted after a warm day in the sun, and lots of walking ...

... to the bus (knee hurting from coming down so many stairs) and slept most of the way back to Paris. The weather was fine and warm all day, thank goodness, no more downpours.

Took the Metro back to our place and fell into the Cafe Francoeur at the top of our street for a late dinner. Croque Madame for Rex and a Chicken Caesar salad pour moi.

Hit the fatigue wall when we got back to the apartment and was out cold by 9.30pm.
