Not easy when you can't speak the language. ... BUT :( terrible seats - they are hard plastic with a thin fabric cover and no reclining! 12 hours sitting up makes it very hard to sleep! There were quite a lot of children on the flight - all well behaved, although it would have been nice if the parents had ensured the kids kept the window blind shut so we weren't woken and blinded by the early morning sun. The third was the whole day, we started off in another mosque, which I found to be bluer than the Blue mosque, the tiles being painted with a lighter blue pattern, so you got a better feeling of blueness about the place. All mosques are "working" mosques and tourists have to keep back behind a barrier, as there are always people praying.

... feeling poorly (sorry to harp on about it), I really enjoyed my time in Paris. As I've said, I liked being in my own company, and walking around not worrying if I got lost (which is something I hated even only 12 months ago! Yay, growth!!).
Paris did me a world of good in a number of unexpected ways, and ways that perhaps many would not necessarily associate with the city - but it is true, it is the city of (self) love :)
