The restaurant we ate at is called La Bergerie is owned by an Australian with Spanish help. The food was superb and the drinks kept flowing.

... gardens around the Prince’s Palace were spectacular! What was rather odd was that while we were using the tripod and camera timer to get a photo of ourselves perched above the city, we were approached by a serious, but very polite, police man. He informed us that tripods are banned in Monaco unless they are used by a registered professional photographer! We remain baffled by this but assume it has something to do with the use of big heavy lenses ...
