    ... best. Unfortunately we took wrong boat back so took twice as long but as a bonus we saw more of the surrounding areas of the main Venice Island. You forget that everything is done by boat here and this was brought home to us as we waited on our boats we saw builders in their boats just as you do at home in their vans, we even saw a DHL delivery ...

    ... with beams you have to duck under. Baffled tourists holding maps at 60 degree angles were everywhere. Still, a beautiful way to get lost.
    We found a little cafe in one of these alleys and enjoyed delicious Italian pizza, lemon soda and espresso for lunch in the pleasant shade for before continuing on.

    After a year of planning, our adventure begins. Departing from the Escala and the red room of pain, our driver Martin escorts us to the airport in a town car . Our day and night will be filled with airports, shuttles, and wine. Wow! Flying business first class on a 777 is awesome!
