... yet again we were not disappointed delicious food and yet more delicious wine. We had a wander round the streets, over canals and down tiny streets with not a clue where we were until we happened across a church that actually was on a map!! Venice is a hotch-potch of streets, canals and bridges. We fell into our massive bed and slept the sleep of the past Doges!! Early up and an decent breakfast before hopping on the local Vaperetro to St Marks square. A quick wander ...

Then we spent our first dinner there and it was really nice, then we went to ...

Today we got up fairly early and caught the train firstly to Milan and then into Venice. The first leg was 4 hours and the second was 3 so a fair bit of sitting around was had. On the first leg to Milan we had a nice couple from Sydney to chat to which was nice. The scenery was incredible as we travelled through the Swiss Alps. What amazed us however was the amount of homes high up in the mountains. How they get there is a mystery. Maybe ...

... Husband & wife, their 47 year old daughter and her daughter. They were lovely. Then it's 9.30, and there's a show in, best get in amongst it. This amazing guy Adam Medini, he does hand puppetry (not 'puppetry of the penis' or the likes, this is a family show), but in all seriousness, he does acrobatics, this most incredible balancing thing - he is RIPPED, no 6-pack, more like a 10-pack easily. He juggles, even out of his mouth, he is really entertaining. Mac zonks out ...
