Amazingly atmospheric ceremony that takes place every evening with hundreds of people on the banks of the Ganges. Took off shoes and socks and sat on the steps to the river for a ceremony with our designated priest in which we had a yellow and orange cotton wristbands tied to our wrists ...

I was hit on the head by a falling mango seed, and a plastic bag with an empty tin can in it came out of nowhere as it hit the bridge deck. One day, for no reason that I could tell, 2 monkeys jumped onto peoples backs as they walked off the bridge! Completely unprovoked, with no food in sight! This caused a stream of 20-30 people to run full tilt away ...

... dager, for aa faa bukt med "turistmagen" min. Kuren hjalp, sammen med aurvediske urtepiller som virket umiddelbart. Naa "leverer " jeg perfekt som bare det, hurra !

... Indians have a drink out of a bottle of water, they never let their mouths touch the bottle. They hold it just above their lips and pour it as they drink. Doesn't sound that hard? - I urge anybody who thinks so to have a go! And you can't just fill your mouth up with water and then swallow. You have to have a continuous flow and swallow whilst it's still pouring. I await your comments on how it's gone - have a bib ready!
