It was a long day going from Muscat to Larnaca (Cyprus). I caught the bus back to Dubai at 3pm; then, after arriving in Dubai at 10, the metro to the airport; then waited for my flight which left at 6.30am. A long wait, but just not worth getting accommodation in Dubai. I arrived in Larnaca about 11 after an in-transit stop in Doha for 1.5 hours. (with a time difference of an hour). Then a bus into the city, found accommodation, had an early ...

Stopped for freshly squeezed orange juice and a bit of a rest which was much needed. Old town explored we then took the 5 minute drive to ...

Unfortunately the majority of these businesses remain close until the beginning of May. It is still quite chilly to get to the beach, so I am here with a friend on just a day trip.

Protaras is less than 15 minutes ride from here.

    Nicosia is 80km (45min) and Larnaca 39km (20min).
