... the dam. After a treacherous climb with the turtle in the bucket we took him to the edge of the stream and after just a few seconds he made a run for it and hopped straight into the stream. ... wild turkeys!! In total we had 412.2mm of rain in that time (16.4" for the old school). It was an unbelievable experience, scary at times, but we rode it out. We were never in danger of being flooded at the van, however there was alot of water across the road etc straight across from the caravan park.
