... We had to get back to the bus in 15 minutes, took 30 minutes. LUCKILY the bus waited for us. We didn’t get to buy anything there. Then like, 30 minutes ago, I went to the surfing thing… BAH the instructor was kinda crabby. Oh! And you know how you always think of "yeah man" when you think of Jamaicans? Well it’s actually a word in their language! It’s “Yahman” which DOES mean basically Yeah man. Soo ya dats about it bii!

Juiceness/Jessica
Ocho Rios, Jamaica adellegThe ship docks at Ochos Rios in Jamaica so we decided to just do a little shopping onshore .Jamaica is a fairly poor country so competition is very strong for any sort of business that they can get. After you leave the ship it's a kilometre walk down to a few shopping centres. About 15 different people asked if we wanted a taxi and then once in the stores the store ...

Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica jehmyniOcho is an interesting city, divided by a straight line, on one side (from the center to the port), relatively safe area day and night, upscale boutique, restaurants and on the other side, the chaos and not so safe area. There are a few hundreds meters of beachfront.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica gratien... to the luxurious suites on 22 acres of tropical gardens. Here, all desires are answered. The unbelievable beach invites lovers of water sports to windsurf, SCUBA dive, sail a sunfish, all a prelude to the ultimate dream-come-true. Earlier in the day, there are a myriad of new discoveries: the state-of-the-art fitness center, a spirit-and-body soothing spa and the centuries old cotton tree in the gardens.
Negril, Jamai, Jamaica worldventurer... the market for logwood has since disappeared. The town is renowned for its beautiful, old wooden buildings with gorgeous colonnaded verandahs and gingerbread trim.built during Black River's heyday. We checked out the Invercauld Hotel and the Waterloo Guesthouse, the first electrified dwelling in Jamaica. Along the waterfront is a rusty old ship, half sunk in the water; local farmers sell their fruit and vegetables on the beach. It was nice not to get ...
Black River, Jamaica kimandmartin... for kilts. In addition to the usual ships musicians we had a Tina Turner tribute (loud and screachy), a Planets outdoor acrobatic display and a good tribute to the Four Tops who sang before and after the bells. During the Tina act we headed downstairs to the air-conditioned Connections bar to have our quiz cocktail and caught the end of a Jamaican comedians act - not in a rush to see the rest of the act. The bar was very quiet and they played a number of ...
Ocho Rios And Montego Bay, Jamaica skcoll... in their place... oh, wait... it was exactly two years ago to the day when they arrived. I was so excited to see everyone and begin to get to know them. I had a regretful incident in Kingston that forced me to recover in MoBay, but I was back with the trainees a week and a half later. I spent all last week working with the Youth sector in Cumberland, Portmore. Next week begins my second annual Summer Camp! I'm excited, but mostly for ...

Once we found a space (a hot beach service man who looked like D'Angelo helped us), I immediately started posing and bugging mum to take pictures so I could show you! But alas, and curses, I still can't find any stinking place to download em, and as I said I am out of memory, and I still have a week and a half to go! Anyway, I digress, we ...
Montego Bay - Jamaica, Jamaica mysticalThis was a horrible nasty little place I hope to never see again. When you walk down the street, it is filthy and taxi drivers nag at you and then throw insults when you refuse to take a taxi. I Came. I Saw. I LEFT! One almost saving feature of this hideous place was swimming in the water, but even that turned south when I felt what I believe to be a sewer pipe under my feet.
