    ... heading back to Fira. We round the volcano island and pass the cruise ships and are back in port where we all, everyone on board, heads for the cable car to go back up to Fira.

    Once back in Fira, we try in vain to find the jeweler where we had bought a necklace and bracelet for me earlier in the week but either we were completely lost or he moved shop in just two days. We couldn't find him but had plenty of other jewelers ...

    ... Gordon already in Santorini to pick us up!!! I was super excited to see her and her new fiance Alex. They were kind enough to let us stay in their apartment that they had for one more night. As they drove us we chatted about all our travel stories and it was just great to see them both looking so happy!     ... was so nice- it was peaceful, picturesque (except for the fat ladies swimming) and chilled.

    Anyway sunset was at 8:30, there were a million people, and it was nice to see. The drive home wasn't so fun- twilight only lasted 20 minutes and then we were following "main" roads all the way home. But we survived and after 50 minutes on the bendy, dusty, confusing roads we were home, writing to you. Now we're going to go for a swim in the pool perhaps- it looks very inviting! ...
