... and instead did a bit of shopping for the niece and nephew we had been putting off. Pretty easy to find stuff in a town so dedicated to tourists too. Of course we had some souvlaki for lunch and just had a pretty relaxing boring day.

The hotel owner dropped us down at the ferry at about 12pm and we pretty soon climbed aboard our overnight ferry which too was a bit of a debacle. Completely unorganised and shady boarding with no real authority. Everyone ...

Our morning started with a quick Skype to the olds in NZ to wish mum a happy birthday. We didn't have too much goss to tell them as we had really just had a couple of quiet and relaxing days in Greece. Mum was asking 'so no more news then?'. And the hotel staff were lovely, they gave us small glasses of local sweet wine, then not long after came back with glasses of bubbly! Hot tubs and bubbly, could this ...

Mykonos is known to be a party island. It is full to the brim with sweaty half naked bodies - and not just on the beach! We were staying on a part of the island called paradise beach, and our accommodation came in the form of little wooden boxes raised a little from the ground which ...

... all drunk very quickly. We ended up with multiple hats in this bar as if you do a certain amount of shots you get a free hat. We all danced the night away before walking back to our hotel.

On our second day after a big breakfast we went to a winery for wine tasting followed by heading to the cable cars to get to the bottom of the hills and ride a donkey back up. The line for this was massive and we would have been waiting hours! So our ...
