Day 1

This weekend we went on a IES organized weekend trip to Valencia, located in the East of Madrid, in the coast of the Mediterranean sea.

... nice atmosphere. We go to a restaurant that has a great outlook over the city lights. We have a beer which has frozen bits through it and the tapas on offer is greasy. After another 1/2 hour trip back to Madrid, we took the last part of our day to walk through El Prado. As a Spanish teacher, there is nothing like walking through El Prado and seeing the paintings that I have taught for so many years. I never tire of "las Meninas".

It was a big day - tomorrow - Toledo!
