... called El Bernadino. All four of us ordered the pig, and it was the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. If ever you go to Segovia, you must try a pig! I then had a melon for dessert, which was quite alright, we talked about funnythings on the way back to the room, then went to bed. I say today hello to real Europe, don't get me wrong, Madrid is no dump, but nothing can beat the quaintness of a lovely small town like Segovia, See you again tomorrow from Avila, Bye for now

... palace was built for Ferdinand's widowed mother, but was eventually a hunting palace. The bigger palace in the area, Palacio Real de La Granja we visited on the following day.
