Well it certainly blew last night, doors banging, worse than forecasted. I am reporting this second hand as Jean says I slept through it or, rather snored!
There is damage to the large parasols by the pool and chairs are knocked over. It`s still rough but, forecast still indicating that it will calm down a lot.

we hired QUAD BIKES...so much fun! it took us all 15 mins or so to not be scared of them, but after that we all agreed we'd be keeping them for 2 days...we drove to the port town, which was cute but we are glad we aren't staying there, and also attempted to go to some archaeological site on the far north of the island - then realised it's 35km away and we couldn't be bothered, so we went to the beach and got massages
