... After that we had time to get a coffee and explore the village. There were a few shops, that sold the usual souvenirs, i had a look at the shops and then went for a walk.
Soon we got back on the bus and drove to marble town. Along the way getting some good views as we got to the highest points in the island, seeing some amazing churches and small little towns, also going on windy roads. At the marble village our guide walked us to the ...
... island for tomorrow. I then walked into the port area of town, then had dinner at a roof top restaurant, it had great views of the sun setting, also had good food. After dinner i wandered around the town, i went to the bookshop, went and picked up a new hat and some souvenirs. I then got a drink and some bananoff pie at this beer palace cafe, i then walked to the beach and walked along it. I had a drink, relaxed in a chair and then headed back to the hotel/hostel and did some reading before bed.
... was very full by the end. I then went for a walk, walked down to
the port area and went to this place called coffee and cream. Here i had a coffee and some dessert, then went for a walk back to st Georges beach, took a seat at one of the beach side bars and had a drink here, i then walked along to another bar and had a different drink. After that i walked back to the hostel, read for a bit and then went to bed.
All aboard on our ATVs, we went on a scenic 15 minute drive to Paradise Beach.
The name truly said it all. The beach was packed with tourists, but somehow still very clean, with rocky sand. The food there was inexpensive and delicious. Kelsey ad I shared a pork gyro and half a watermelon (!) for just 8 euro. The best part of Paradise was by far the water. There was coral bedrock for about 50 feet, and I crunched on weird spongy seaweed walking ...
... was a little bar and upstairs was a club, we eventually made our way up top, but it wasn't that great. Highlight was Jose getting hit on by a large south African that kept telling him that she knew blokes with massive wangs but its all about the motion. "I know blokes down to here, but let me tell you one thing, its not about the size of the boat, its the motion in the ocean" I was enjoying how awkward Jose was feeling and played on it. She left and promised to be back ...
