Lovely drive with Geoff and Amanda to Lefkosia (Nikosia) where we crossed the Turkish border. We did some shopping and had a drink of fresh lemonade at one of the cafes in the Suk.
We then drove to the Mall for some lunch before heading to Lefkara, a small village in the mountains famous for their lace and silver.
We got home after six, got changed and went to dinner in the town of Lemesol at TGIF.

A forty minte taxi ride took me to the airport and into a small lounge via a fairly efficient passport control and security check. Larnaca airport is not large but is quite new so it was not far to the gate when we were called.
The flight back was on a 767 which is distinctly old and tired. But we were on time and I easily met Brian for the trip home. But late in at just after midnight.

Before visiting Cyprus the expectation was that it was a romantic destination for couples, weddings and honeymoons however this wasn’t shown at all whilst visiting the country. The presentation from CTO also didn’t emphasis weddings as much as expected as it’s meant to be a large sector in the country. ... in Signatures, just the two of us. When we finished the dinner, we happened to walk down along the shops on the ship. A couple who we met on our November cruise recognized us and we made a date for dinner in a few days. I remember speaking with them about this cruise and how we said it would be fun to meet again.
Tomorrow we will be in Rhodes, Greece. Cannot wait to see that place.
