    Washington DC. The food (Georgetown Cupcakes, food truck falafel, Whole Foods), the monuments, the White House. Just fantastic.

    3GB of data for 30 days for $30 from AT&T, the iPad and the polite lady on Google Maps.

    Amtrak (except NY to Washington). Such a great way to travel especially when it's not peak season.

    ... the year. Getting the needles was painless and it didn't take long at all. I would recommend getting all of the vaccinations for a school group because you don’t want to take any chances.

    To get to the airport on time I would recommend the being on time is being 1 hour early, this is because you will miss most of the lines and if something goes wrong you will have enough time to sort it out.

    ... us and said Welcome back to Australia.

    Spent some time with them before heading home about 9.30. Dogs were so overwhelmed when they realised it was us. They both just sat and licked me for a long time. Unpacked our hand luggage. No washing to do. Bags will come tomorrow.

    Now to go and do some shopping. Need to think of what to have for dinner. Cooking will be a bit different and I can guarantee that french fries will not be served tonight.
