Cathedral of St Stephen
This Roman Catholic Cathedral is still an active place of worship. It was built between 1864 and 1922 and is in the Gothic revival style. It has spire topped sandstone towers and imported glass windows from Munich.

The heat hit us hard and, despite the ease of travelling from Sydney airport to our destination in Manly, we were both ready for an ice cold shower when we arrived!! The ferry ride between Sydney and Manly lasts around 30 minutes and the incredibe view back over the Opera House and the bridge is exactly as you see it on a postcard. As far as cityscapes go, it was definitely one of the best we have seen so far on our travels. In Manly ...
... us. I cleaned the two bathrooms and afterwards we pulled out weed and did some other stuff in the garden. Afterwards we were exhausted sweaty and dirty...but better than sitting around and doing nothing ;) Back at the hostel I took a nap and cooked the best pasta which I had for a long time :)) Tomorrow we are probably meeting a friend who we worked with in Mildura when we did Orange picking and packing :) Hope you had a good Friday 13th ...
