... like a little kid! It's quite funny! You know that every time he comes back out of the sea it's only because his hands are too 'pruned' that he can't touch anything or close his hands together because he's been in there so long, he's going to say 'aw those waves are awesome mind, one took me right under and I was floating on the top... I'm a pro now mind' haha! He's too funny. Varkala is really nice though, still a lot of yoga here; the price of food is a little more expensive than Goa ...

... being our first task of the day. When everyone was done we cleaned off all the tables and then swept and mopped in the dining hall. After that we had a 2 hour break to ourselves, usually spent reading as it was close to too hot to be outside. At 13 (or at least around there, food time was never an exact thing) we served the old people lunch and again cleaned the tables and did a lighter cleaning of the floors and had lunch together with the 3 guys that run the place. ... in the park! But 3 minutes later we returned to the same spot we were picked up from - and no boat again!!!!! After a 15 minute wait we were wondering is the boat was taking us anywhere else to see the lions for the 'safari'. No - they were just going to take us back to the jetty! Quick thinking by Nova (ex- warrant officer in the US Army ) asked the boat driver to drop us off at the Ashram opposite the sanctuary to save our legs and a long and hot walk back.
