... t see anything we fancied. We finally came to the Mooloolaba Fish Market. It had a restaurant upstairs. It turns out most people ordered take-out downstairs and then bring it upstairs to eat. We on the other hand ordered upstairs. It may have cost us more, we didn't check, but we did get real plates and cutlery. It was delicious Peter had the crumbed prawns and I had grilled barramundi.

So we sadly left our beloved Byron Bay and took a bus up to Mooloolaba, just under 2 hours north of Brisbane. Our friend Sam, who we had worked with back home as nurses, now lives in near Mooloolaba with her Aussie boyfriend. She graciously offered her place as she had bunkbeds in her spare bedroom and we even had our very own bathroom...and towels. It was magical.
