    ... drama. There’s a 711 store nearby and my travelling mantra has always been “passport, credit card – done”. What's that!? Our little group is suddenly engaged in a turbulent debate!     We are now in Noosa a nice city with beautiful beaches and apparently the last good surf beach on the East Coast before Cairns.     ... a big mystery to some of you. Annemieke and I noticed that the camping ground that my sister and we had stayed in in 1979 is still there. Just everything else past the shoreline had changed however! What was once were paddocks and a fish and chip shop, now is high rise apartments and a strip of beach shops along the beach front. So much change it was hard to imagine its bare original state. A luxury house here now will set you back $3.5 million!! ...

    ... it's on the right side of the steering wheel, so to turn right you flick down and left is up. My mantra every time I get in one of our rentals is "stay left; right down, left up". Didn't have to apply this mantra as fully with this vehicle.

    Nice relaxed morning, it was a beautiful day! Gorgeous sunshine. We had breakfast (boiled eggs and soldiers) out on the al fresco before grabbing a shower. Packed a bit more of our stuff away as we get closer to leaving.
