    Up at half 6 this morning! We donned the American Fried shirts and began setting up ready for the day ahead!     ... I could tell them apart so I know which ones are venomous but they all look the same to me. At the end of the zoo was the African safari and they were feeding giraffes. In the end I had to catch the zoo trolley back to the entrance in case I’d miss my bus back.

    ... because we were both talking rubbish. Friday arrived... My head felt fine and I was out for a walk along the beach front at 6.20am, weather has been pretty rubbish recently, think its the effects of the cyclone up north. Just a bit muggy but was still nice to be out. We have only been given 4 shifts and none on the weekend next week so we spent Friday job searching and driving to the nearby strawberry fields to see if they had any work going but no positive news.     ... a 14 foot Croc (Salty) callled 'Mossman' came out and headed for her. The guide then moved and a male guide fed the Croc, then they got him to jump out of the water. There was a huge screen which showed clips of Steve Irwin, his work and quotes . . I was quite choked up! After the Croc show we headed to Roo Heaven, which it was!
