    ... We find ourselves constantly comparing the new (Sheraton Albufeira) to what we know and Jeff and I both agree, it is a cross between the Lodge at Torrey Pines and the Kea Lani on Maui.     ... Friday night we treated ourselves to someone else’s cooking and with a restaurant 50 metres away no travelling necessary there or more importantly back. On the issue of restaurant prices fish dishes are all around 15 so with a few drinks added you are at same prices as Ireland in my opinion.Several beers/wine and a good selection of fish and we were sorted. Back to base and another good night’s sleep.

    ... sunny. Siesta today as was really hot!!! Went for swim in dumping waves... Brought back half the beach with me but felt lovely. Lovely dinner out...
