      ... had a week of relaxation, and thankfully, we managed to get a couple of days with great weather – one day was a great walk from the main village which was located at the highest inland point on the island down to the coast, and the second nice day, we hired a car and drove around the island. One of the highlights of the walk was a visit to the Lion of Kea which is a rock formation which looks like a Lion, but I think that there has been a bit of enhancement. ...

      Liam of course could not be left out, and even though it was sunny insisted on wearing the new scarf which Michael bought this morning.       ... among others....talk about starting with the big guns! Being that early in the morning the place was nice and quiet and this was an art lovers dream......one person, one room and lots of favourite artists.

      ... what has become our favourite bar. Terrible really - we've only been here 36 hours and already have a favourite bar!
      Then back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner. Michael actually fell asleep, but he is getting old you know!       ... sitting with a mouthful of it (halfway through it) trying to swallow it but not able to squeeze it down into any spare digestive space. We swore we wouldn't need to eat for a week!!

      At 11.56 all dirty crockery was cleared, an espresso was brought, and drunk, and our glasses were filled with bubbly as the bells chimed midnight and the band in the square outside started up .....magic experience.
