... this miracle stone! We soon found it (but we can't say where) and duly performed the twirling- we shall wait and see! This stone is also special as it marked the end of a human chain from Vilnius to Tallin consisting of 2 million people, in protest at Soviet rule. We got into Vilnius and I walked about a mile to find my hostel. It’s not the greatest location, but it is a really nice hostel. It’s just been refurbished, so the inside of it is really nice, and it’s only a 10 minute walk to the old town, so it’s not that bad.
