Well, I have never been somewhere as cold as Diepoldsau! Then again, it is on
the boarder of the Austrian and Swiss Alps. Looking out the kitchen window, you

... Liechtenstein. It is small principality between Austria and Switzerland. They use Swiss Francs but will take Euros as well. We saw out first public outdoor skating rink in Vaduz. Not too hard to skate outdoors at +10. It is not really much different than the Swiss mountain towns we have visted.

Our at last day in Lindau was a sunny Sunday which brought the people out to stroll in the sun and sit on the terrasses taking in the good weather.

... the stress of the tunnel we stopped at the next service station, struggled to park and Nikki had a Big Mac for being so brave.

The most remote campsite of the entire trip was at Raggal, yes Camping Grosswalsertal (47.21585, 9.8537) still had a plastic slide and sandpit for the children, but the campground itself was just a slightly sloping field, and a brilliant field at that, each pitch affording fantastic panoramic views of the valley beneath.
